InCrops Project

The InCrops Enterprise Hub

The Innovation in Crops project and the University of East Anglia is pleased to announce that it has been approved to receive grant funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the East of England Development Agency to implement the InCrops Enterprise Hub over the 2008-2013 period.

The Enterprise Hub builds upon and expands the initial work that was started during 2007-08. Based on the Norwich Research Park but organized across the East of England and involving thirteen partners the project will expand the business support and commercialisation opportunities in the alternative and non-food crops sector in the East of England.

Working within the theme of low carbon economic growth for the East of England  the enterprise hub promotes crop derived bio-renewable near market research, supply chain development and product development through to destination with local businesses and entrepreneurs.
