An InCrops networking event for regional businesses involved in growing, producing and selling juices from berries and other fruits, teas, jams, wines and beers.
From 16:30 to 18:30 This event is free to attend.
The global functional food market is expected to grow to $1.75bn by 2012 (~45% growth since 2007). Key target markets include digestive health, beauty products, healthy ageing and weight management. Fruit and juices are expected to be particularly strong with nutraceutical drinks expected to exhibit ~50% growth over a five year period (2008-2013).

The event aims to:
- Introduce the InCrops Project to businesses in the juice, tea, jam, wine, beer and related product supply chains and discuss the opportunities that InCrops offers. These opportunities include up to 14 hours free business support and interaction with InCrops 13 academic partners (including the major universities and research institutes in the Eastern region).
- Provide you with an opportunity to discuss the development of the functional foods sector in the Eastern region and explore opportunities for, and barriers to, business growth and development.
- Provide you with an opportunity to meet with regional businesses throughout the supply chain in the sector.
- Provide you with an opportunity to showcase some of your products.
