InCrops Prototype Hemp Harvester Demonstration

Demonstration of the InCrops new hemp cutting machine.The prototype, multi-blade, hemp harvester has been specifically manufactured to support the hemp growers harvest their crop more efficiently and has been developed to suit the prevailing conditions found in the East of England region. Operational tests on the machine are currently underway cutting this year’s crop.
The demonstration event will be an opportunity to see the machine in action. The event will also include short presentations from
- Mike Duckett of Hemp Technology Ltd about the hemp processing
- Dr James Brighton, engineering consultant of JLB Design Ltd, who will talk about the available hemp harvesting methods.
Tea and coffee will be available from 9.00am

InCrops Ltd is actively engaged in promoting the development and increased uptake of Hemp, both as a crop and also as biomaterial in a number of applications. Data and information from the prototype will be collected to assist in the development of the harvester. The design and build of the prototype harvester has been commissioned by InCrops Enterprise Hub with funding support from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
