    This 2 day scientific meeting brings together the research carried out in UK and elsewhere, to review progress and to assess the current opportunities for both novel crop species, and non food uses of conventional crops.

Key note speakers include Jeremy Tomkinson (NNFCC) ‘The development of non food crops – the long road from high values to mainstream energy’; Ray Harwood (Copernicus Textile Solutions Ltd) ‘The future for fibre crops’; and Brian Whittle (GW Pharmaceuticals PLC) ‘Development of cannabis as a prescription medicine’.
