To support the fledgling algal sector and to aid in building supply chains, InCrops seeks to commission a consultant to undertake market information on algal products and services.
Scope of work:
To determine and reference the market size and value (UK and international) for the following products/services that can be provided by algae:
Bioenergy products (Bioalcohols, Biodiesel, Biokerosene, Thermochemical conversion products, Biomethane); Food / Nutraceuticals (whole algae, protein, PUFAs, vitamins, antioxidants, colourings); Feed (fishmeal replacement; protein); Cosmeceuticals(antioxidants, vitamins, pigments); Chemicals (oleochemicals; antioxidants; platform chemicals); Bioremediation Services(CO2 and nutrient scrubbing; removal of toxins).
Further details of the product scope will be discussed with the successful candidate.
